I'll have to do some research Leon. I have it on cassette someplace. I am not sure if it's available on CD. If it's not available for purchase, I'll
try and get the same mp3, Serkan Sabah has used (minus Bulent's addition of course) on that youtube recording you heard.

Udi Mike - what can I say? thanks so much for this - this is a lullaby to keep me awake for sure, electrifying playing and singing.
Send my thanks to Serkan. Are these Hrant recordings available anywhere because they should be, I'd love to hear more. I'll have another listen to
your wonderful taksims today, they were some of the first pieces I listened to after joining the Forum so I have a great deal of respect to you.
I'm waiting for my new oud from Tasos Theodorakis, should be here mid-week so this is good inspiration to play a new instrument in.
Exciting times
Thanks
Leon

You are welcome Leon.
I checked the Traditional Crossroads catalog and Ninni is not among the songs published by them. I don't believe its available on CD. Anyhow, enjoy
the mp3

Mike

Is this track possibly on an old lp of Hrant's listed as:
"Houdi Hrant" -- "Master of the Oriental Oud"
I realize now I already had an mp3 of this that lists the above as the album info.
I also have a track of him playing "Bu Gece" that sound like the same session.
Anyone have that record? what else is on it?
Thanks!!! really great emotional singing wow.

You're right Adam, really full on oud and voice - they seem interchangeable. Notice how short the piece is and how long the pause is about 2 thirds
through. Masterful
