Who is this Oud Builder/Seller?

All,

I surfed into this web page today: http://www.oud.cc/index.htm . The ouds look good. Who and where is this guy? Is he a builder, seller, or both?

My computer won't doesn't like the Arabic text on the site, and I got sore eyes trying to read the banner as it changes.

Good find John.

I'm surprised that the URL country extension is the Cocos (Keeling) Islands. Clearly, this maker is not there. The contact telephone numbers are Kuwaiti.

Ouds are made by Cyril Mario Vaz, an Indian oud master working in Kuwait. The business, I figure, is Jassim's.

I think there area couple of Cyril ouds that were demonstrated on the forum, one of them not too far ago.

So how is the oud scene in Kuwait, Jassim?

Who makes ouds? Who plays it? Does Bait Louthan attracts a lot of activity? Is the Qurain festival growing, idling, or ... just a waste of time? ...
