new video clip on youtube
Hi,
it's been a long time since i sent an audio taqsim in the mp3's to mike. well, lately I've been very busy as a musician. last couple of weeks, I
found out that I can record videos with the webcam . So I did.
I am right handed, but i didn't figure out yet how fix the videos.
I am playing an oud that I ordered a year and a half ago from Saad tayyar. It's still a young oud , so the sound quality is coming with age. I wanted
a concert oud. really loud and it's almost as loud as my piano. nicely balanced too. So I am playing most of my concerts unplugged.

I promise to launch a CD in 2008. we're working on it.
It just sometimes everybody else's project come before mine. we'll' I'am practicing anyway and that's the important thing.

I was actually talking to Nizar this Saturday. I saw him when I went to Lordia. I didn't know he played Base Too!!
he told me about it actually.
I am actually working with my orchestra on presenting a series of concerts in Ottawa to play oum koulthoum etc...
he seemed interested to come down and play with us. There will also be ustaz Sami nay player from Montreal coming down also.
I will try to catch you guys on the next show
