You know, I haven't even emailed the seller so I could see this piece of kindling....next time, no posting unless I have seen the oud.

Pretty sure this is junk? (i just emailed the guy, thinking maybe $350 could've bought something decent in Turkey 10 years ago.) But I'm up in
Seattle--if someone close by there could check it out (or just confidently identify the thing as kindling, or not, from the photos!) that would be
really helpful.
(My midrange Lark in the Morning instrument has not held up well after a couple years of steady use, and I can't really afford a grand or two for a
fine new one anytime soon.)

moot point now--kindling or pro quality, the seller got back with me promptly to let me know the oud's been sold (but might I be interested in his
qanun?)
anyone here checked out one of Haluk's "normal pro" ouds?
