Oud on the cover of the economist - who'dathought?
Does anyone know who this maker is? The article makes no reference to oudmaking - the picture is evidently just a metaphor - we can but hope an
accurate one.

the photo is in fact metaphorical, because if iraqi people especially iraqi artists start making musical instruments again, this means that the
country has come back to life which is very optimistic knowing the real situation in the country.
