Sabsaby syrian oud
I am selling my Sabsaby syrian oud.
this is the same maker that made Afif Taian's main concert oud.
I beleive it was made in 1995 but I am guessing since there is no label inside.
I bought it off a syrian friend of mine who bought it from hussein Sabsaby directly.
the bowl is made of a beutifully figured wood. I am hesitating to say what kind but I have been researching and to the best of my knowleged it is some
kind of figured mahogany.
there is a pickup installed in the oud but I cannot attest to its quality since i am not sure what brand it is and I havent really tried it since i
dont have the equipment.
In any case the oud is really comforable to play and has a beautifull sound. I will make a sound sample if anyone would like to hear it.
I am asking 950$ including a nice velvet lined leather bag.

here is a small sample of the sound.
I changed the strings today to Aquila
no effect added whatsoever. this oud sounds good!
compressed to 64kb/s

Also I am going to drop the price of this oud to make it a flat 900$.
