Oud case making...?!

Has anyone made an Oud case and if so what techniques did you use?
I am going to be making one here shortly and am going to start with a base make of Italian bending plywood.

Check out "Build an 'Authentic' Oud Case" on this forum.
You can hot bend cheap plywood to make such a case.
