Hi Katakofka

Mustafa Said was my teacher at the oud school in Cairo, it's him how introduced me to arabic and turkish classical.
He has a formation as a singer and as an oud player.
Last news I get from him he was teaching in Antonine university in Beyruth and making works with Nidaa Abu Murad, as a record of the melodies describe in the book of Mikhail Mishaqa in the 19th century.
Also a record of abbassid music, from the works of Safi ed din el Urmawi, wich was played in concerts in France.

Both Cd's are edited:

http://www.mcm.asso.fr/site02/inedit/cd260123.htm
there you can read the booklet of the CD, french and english, and also order the CD.

The second CD is edited by the Antonine university under the name
"music from Lebanon and the levant of the arab renaissance / the legacy of Miha'il Massaqa"

Regards
