Charbel ruuhana ensemble evolution
I've been following the work of Charbel for a while. He uses violins, accordion, guitar base and oud in his ensemble as seen in here in this lovely
music

recently he added a bozok and went back to oriental makaams as seen in here

Katakofta, I usually don't like these types of fusions between east and west because most people don't manage to do them successfuly, but I really
enjoyed those pieces, thank you!

Hi Souhiel, great music, thanks for posting the clips. Charbel's ensemble is the best of east and west music fusions, tastefully done and shows that
the oud is a very adaptable instrument when in the hands of someone like Charbel. I'll have to go out and buy one of his CDs now! cheers, MW
