Hi there

The younger son of mohmad fadel(Yarob fadel) has a workshop in Tunisia, you can find out more by going to his website.

But the prices of his oud r quite expensive so you will be aware!

Take care

Buongiorno Daniele,

I can't find Yaroub Fadel's web page, but, if you send me a U2U, I will give you the email address I used to talk to him in 2001.

I visited Sicily for 3 weeks in 2004 and really enjoyed it, especially the Moorish history and architecture and the "hidden" Jewish history as well.

I also enjoyed listening to my radio at night, when I could pick up stations in North Africa...must be very tantalizing to Sicilians with an interest in North African culture...

I am attaching a photo of an Arabic/Islamic inscription from a column in the Palermo Cathedral for the benefit of other Forum members.

Ciao,
John

fadel

Thank you John!
The next time you come in Sicily You can be my guest! I am quite expert in Arabic-sicilian history, especially for what concerns Palermo..
My email address is
danieleguttilla@hotmail.com

I already knew that yaroub fadel had no a website, and this is very strange actually\ Someone told me that he's not in Tunisia anymore, some others say he's there..

If you send me his email address, and if it still works, I will discover the truth about it.
Anyway, does anybody know any other maker?

thank you,
daniele

Thank you Dubai!
Yes, maybe its number will be useful because the email that John kindly gave me maybe is too old.
Do you know if the number you have is still working?
Anyway, I would try!
But....Important question: which language does Yaroub speaks!?!?! I can speak just Italian and english!
Thank you..
If you want to give me his number send it to my email please:
danieleguttilla@hotmail.com

thanks, thanks, thanks..
