1892 INCREDIEBLE SULTAN'S MANOL OUD

Hello Everybody
This oud was made while Sultan Vahdettin VI.was Sehzade in 1892.The Mahogany bowl is , inlayed cutting by Endurunlu Vasıf Bey ,by ıvory . Also Sultan Vahdettin tought playing oud by Ali Rıfat Cağatay . Later this oud was played by Fuat Ahmet who was one of the famaust udi .
At last it was played by Nevres Bey .Than was played by Lemi Atlı who was one of the most famaust composer of Turkish musicians .

So thats how a Sultazadeh's oud looks like ...
Beautiful !!, Whats the bowl made of ?

The Arabic inscription reads Fuat Ahmet BTW.

Thanks for sharing these photographs.

For what it is worth, I have purchased three ouds from Cengiz Sarikus, and I have treasured each experience.

The ouds that he sells are as described, he is honest, and delivery was first rate.

Mr Sarikus I looked at my photos of Manol uds that i have collected from various sources and i found out a photo you have actually posted with this particular oud before the restoration.
I think that you have changed some more parts of the original oud. Mizraplik,rosettes,pegs i can see.
Nevertheless i still think that it is a very beautiful and rare 'Manol..

Dear Multi Kulti
This oud was repaired 1930 by Hamza Usta after repaired by Artin Atikyan Usta 1955.
When I buy this oud its own bring to me rosettes and pelectrom in the wood box and he said that me and showed old pictures arround the body inlays İvory and ebony.
I repaired only polish and claned the soundbord.I show other manol pictures arround the same dizayn and it has got very beatiful sound .Iwill send dowlond this oud for you realy its a rare oud.
