First take

Hi oudies :wavey:
After "noodeling around" for about 1 Year and getting a bit used to recording-device,I`m brave enough to post my first recording.
I just added a little delay to make it sound smoother(and to hide the mistakes:D)

Critisism is needed!!

Marcus

Oooops

the file was much to large.

I shrinked it to a loadable size.

You cant hide the mistakes my friend :P

Seriously.. this is great progress after one year !!

You seem confident while playing which is very good.. your oud sounds better in the high notes than the lower ones.. you have a very good plucking technique.. overall I liked it.. but the last part Fog El Nakhel was a little bit messy to be honest and out of rhythm.. and would have loved it much more without the delay.. maybe a little bit of reverberation is all what is needed.. but definitely not the delay in my opinion..

Very well done after only a year :applause:
Keep going on and let us listen to more recordings :D

I agree with Reda;
I am sure you can do better for Fougennakhil
Just practice and repeate it slowly first...

Hi Reda,hi mrkmni:wavey:
thanx for your coments!!

I`m not very familiar with effects but I´ll try some reverb the next time.
And for sure I gonna practice and let you hear more if there is no need anymore to hide any mistakes:D .

Cheers,

Marcus

Actully, it is very nice.

I think the "mistakes" in rhythm are not realy the mistakes - you probably did not hear the recording of foq el nahl (or not a acurat one), so you interpreted it as is. If you played from notes (do count:shrug: ) - and always combine with listening the song. There are plenty files on youtube.
You have groove.
