i first heard of singing into your instrument to warm it up here at mike's and contrary to what i'd thought - viz. the maturing of an instrument and
its subsequent mellowing or opening-up - vibration doesn't count as much in the process as humidity.
If this is so then any instrument left out of its case in an english spring should be sorted quite quickly.
Especially one as glorious as this one.
For those poor souls not here, we're enjoying bright sunshine by day, warm enough to sit out in comfort, with slight frost at night. Flowers and
fresh leaves everywhere and the air like champagne ought to taste, and it's non alcoholic.
