Saba taksim try
It has been a while since i last post on this site but check out my vid i just posted on youtube and give me feedback, good or bad. And was this a
clean try at saba as i am not very good with makam, and this is a Najarian electric oud that i had bought from Jonathan a while ago.

Where/how is the strap attached on the neck side?
I know nothin' from Saba, but the touch sounds great.

It is Saba maqam and nicely done by you ...
Since you need more feedback, so here is what i think:
You have very nice skills and you try play fast with saba. But Maqam saba needs to be played in slower rate. And when you play, you should think about
what you are playing. What i mean by that, Playing like writing poetry. Poetry has introduction, Main body and conclusion. I noticed you are jumping
up and down, which is suits other maqams than saba
Try to listen to Saba which is played by Naseer Shamma. You will see exactly what i mean ....
I am looking forward to more videos of your playing my friend.

Well, dubaii244 thanks for some much appreciated feedback. I totally know what u are saying. I put up another video but i had it recorded so i don't
think its much different than the other one on styling, some more feedback would be nice, thank you.

Well, I like this one much better. It seems to me that Nahawand maqam perhaps doesn't demand as much "self awareness" as Saba, yet you play it much
more consciously. By Self Awareness I mean that difficult state of being continuously aware of your presence in the moment, and since it's almost
impossible, then at least catching yourself drifting away, and coming back to it, very often. The opposite is playing "mechanically", which can be
technically impressive, but not "soulful".
