Looking for a Turkish Oud in the Los Angeles Area
I am looking to purchase a Turkish Oud. I live in the San Fernando Valley and will travel around the LA area to check one out. I am just learning
and would like to "test drive" a few before I make a purchase. I tried one at McCabe's Guitar Shop. It was nice, but not spectacular.

You should check out Viken Najarian http://www.oud.net or John Bilezikjian http://www.dantzrecords.com. They might have something you'de be interested in. Good Luck.

Thanks Paul. But I was hoping to be able to try some out before I made my purchase.

Hi drovla,
Just send them an email -- John has a stock of instruments for sale, and it changes all the time. It's much less likely with Viken, but he could have
the odd oud he's looking to sell. Don't mean to badger you man, and good luck with your search.
Regards..PaulO

Thanks PaulO. I just sent John and email. He only lives a couple hours from me so hopefully he has something for a beginner like me!
Kind regards,
Mike
