I have an acquaintance who is on his way to Cairo for a week. He's looking to purchase some ouds while he's there. Any advice to pass along
to him? He's not very knowledgable about ouds but would like to know that he's getting quality instruments for himself and friends.
I've told him what I know about ouds, but I don't know anything about getting them in Cairo. Prices ranges to expect in USD? People to talk
to? Shops to go to, shops to avoid? Makers to look for? Thanks for any tips I can pass along. (He's only going to be there for a week so quick
advice is going to be most useful, thanks!)
