Taqsim Nahawand
Hi folks
I have just recorded my first humble offering for the site. It's a little taqsim on Nahawand with a bit of a modulation to Nawa Athar and Hijaz on
G.
I am playing this on my Dimitris Rapakousios 7 course Bashir style oud (my baby  ).

Hi CQ,
this is very nice , it has a very good feeling and your richa is smooth...
I feel however that the sound is always a little 'thin'... but maybe this is an effect of recording? Also some notes are slightly out of tune.
Keep playing, I'm waiting for your next recordings

Thanks for your comments. Yes it could be the way I recorded the piece (straight into a stereo mike). Hmmmn, I'll see what I can do about the thinness
of the sound. Argh! tuning! Yes, I'll watch that.
