Anyone have any suggestions for some live music venues in the Los Angeles area? Just somewhere I can listen to some authentic oud playing.

Try contacting Naser Musa (http://www.nasermusa.net/index.html) and the Kan Zaman Community Ensemble (http://www.kanzaman.org/ - Not sure if Wael Kakish is still the director, but he's a great source of info!).
