Afghan Rubab
Sasurai-Gakki has two wonderful Rubab available.
There are a few instruments in the world that have such a distinctive sound that they stand as icons of the cultures and music traditions they
represent.
The Oud fills this role and her distant cousin the Afghan Rubab does as well. We have a very limited stock of Rubab available now. Due to the
situation in Afghanistan and NWFP Pakistan, these are nearly impossible for us to get now. So we hope these rare instruments will find a good
home.
Standard 28 Size Rubab: Plain with no decoration. Great sounding simple and natural Rubab. Great sound and all the traditional intensity of Rubab.
This instrument is the most common size and ready to play. JPY40,000 (USD$420.00)
Standard 28 Size Rubab with Deep Body: Plain with no decoration. Great sounding Rubab with a slightly deeper body for added intensity and resonance.
This instrument sounds great and is a very rare type of Rubab. JPY43,000 (USD$450.00)
