So I have been for a while trying the iraqi (Do-FA-DO-re-sol-do-fa) tuning which seems good for makaams on C and F. It also makes the oud sound very
rich due to the open C string.

it was not easy for me playing on that tuning, it needs lot of concentration with a C string instead of A
