Hi Ismaharie, I just got a Multioud myself. The Godin Multioud strings come on it, and are good for Turkish tunings D_d, and will have a lot of sustain. I think this was the setup they had in mind in designing the instrument, as I think Fatih Ahiskali was consulted in the process and he is a 'classical' taught Turkish player (I believe.)
D'addario J95 strings tuned down to Arabic C_c, works for me. They are similar to the Godin strings, but with lighter tension on the 1st- 4th and 9th -11th. The middle courses are the same. Btw the Multioud holds tunings very well.

I've recently put some Aquila 9O on, at Arabic tuning ( a little thicker strings, and made of a different material: nylgut.) They sounded good, but are much thicker (imitating gut strings) and feel different.
You could also go with a slightly higher gauge of D'addario rectified nylons, starting with .024 trebles and have success.

Congratulations! and good luck. I hope my limited experience can help you.
