I've encountered a couple of guys selling ouds on Instagram; has anyone else seen this?

The prices that have been given to me have been anywhere from 5-10k. There is at least one in Kuwait that has what looks like nice instruments. Is
anyone paying buying high dollar ouds sight unseen like this?

You're better off getting an oud from someone with a decent reputation. The oud market in general is filled with scammers and people looking to sell
something for several times what it's worth.

I can agree no more with Ameer..
If you are paying 5-10k on an oud, you can probably contact the best makers and get one of the best quality ouds that ever existed. Don't waste your
money on an oud you found on instgram.
