Oudist visiting the San Francisco Bay Area
Next Wednesday, February 23, 2005 from 9:20 am to 10:30 am in the Music Building Recital Hall, MB1055 at California State University in Hayward, Yair
Dalal, an Israeli composer and oudist, will be lecturing and performing.
His repertoire covers classical Arabic Jewish music "from the Babylonian tradition" (whatever that means; I'm quoting from the flyer).
Dalal was also involved in many peace projects like the Shalom Salam concert, the Key Note Circle for Peace, and others.
