@Alfaraby, who is Mohammad Fadel Jr ? A son of Mohammad Fadel Father ? Which one ? I know there is Yaroub and Faik, another one ?

M'd fadel Jr. is the son of Fayeq M'd Fadel, the eldest son of the great master. Fayeq continued making ouds in Baghdad after his father's death in
2002, and the grandson Mohammad Jr. joined in afterwards.
Fayeq's brothers: Omar, Faleh and Ya'arob are also well known oud makers, Omar in Baghdad, Faleh: first in UAE then in Moldova & Ya'arob: first in
Tunisia and later in Belgium.

where Mustafa (taftaf here) another son of Fayeq's related to the phone numbers in 1977 and that his grand-pa moved to a new workshop in the 1980.
The phone number here is 5 digits and the serial number of the oud is 4260, that matches other fadel's from that period.

that seemed a fake compared with this one.
Another oud from 1985 matches what Mustafa has indicated about the new shop and the new phone numbers. The serial number is also an indicator. It is
5380 in 1985 while it was 4260 in 1975. 112 oud a year ? Nothing much in an active workshop with the sons helping.

This is not the first time you post a piece of My late Grand PA Mohammed Fadel OUD (1910 - 2002)and ask if it is genuine or not, if you gine us more
details on you we will give you address to one of our shops of Mohammed fadel sons and they will observe on the spot and give you the right answer.
and since the Ministry of culture and we are in the process of investigation any fake mohamed Fadel OUD, that might ruin this heritage or effect our
reputation
and for Mr. Al Faraby , thanks for the information and your interest and that all four of Mohamed Fadel sons (UNCLES) are alive and working and ready
to give any advice to any OUD lover if Maker or player

Dear Mustafa,
First of all I have a great respect for you grandfather the master of all times
Mohmad fadel, i have contacted ur uncle Omar and he confirmed the oud
Is a genioune mohmad fadel oud. I also like to share opinions of the members of this website as there are many of thems expers. I visited ur father
faik couple of times in his House hay awor area in baghdad and his son mohmad is very good friend of mine.
The next time I visit dubai I will contact u Mustafa
