Zeryab oud!
Anybody knows anything about the maker Ali Khlifa jr and his
Ouds? He is still making them in Damascus as far as I know.
I just want to inquire about the quality and sound of the Ouds.
Please let me know how comparable are they to other Ouds in the
Market, like Sukar and other types of Ouds.

But I think the Ali khalifa everyone is talking about here is the late Ali Khalifa senior, am asking about a young Ali Khalifa Oud maker, I think he
was born in 84 if am not mistaken. He is making ours in Damascus now like his cousin Zaher Khalifa in Damascus.

I actually saw these, but the thing is they've been posted by the same person who bought an Oud from Ali and then decided to sell it. I was actually
wondering if anyone else had an encounter with the maker and his ouds.

Hey Andalusia,
I actually liked Ali's ouds....the reason I sold some and still advertising one is because I don't keep ouds more than few months 😊
I always look for new ouds.......sort of a hobby
You can see that I sold ouds made by Turünz, Yildirim, Faeq Fadel, Calay, Sukkar, Abu Alaa and many others.....and they are all good.
Ali makes nice ouds.......but it is a matter of taste to like or dislike the sound of a certain oud......you need to try different ouds and look in
youtube......then you will have a better understanding before buying

Thank you habibi Omar, will try to see other ouds as well. Am actually looking for a nice deep Arabic sound Oud by a maker that is consistent in how
he produces them. Can't say I've had much luck so far!
