Suggestions for first oud
I'm looking for suggestions for a first oud. I checked out various styles of oud but not sure which one I could start with as a beginner. I'm an
experienced musician with other instruments under my belt per se.

I'm not an expert, but I highly recommend taking a look at these two blog posts by Navid. That's what I used to buy my first oud:

For my first oud, I decided to go with Maurice Shehata apprentice oud:

The Oud quality is excellent, and the price was within my budget. Furthermore, they have an excellent customer service, and they will work with you to
decide what's the best choice for you.
But again, I'm not an expert that just my experience and at the end, you have to do your research to decide what the best option for what you are
trying to achieve.
