Two new recordings

Hi all,

Here is a link where you can download two tracks I played for someone's recording. The recordings were used as background music for a poem reading CD (no singing)
Memleketim and Sevda are the two new ones. I had posted the Ussak taksim here previously.
Enjoy and feel free to comment.

Hey Udi Mike,

The link isn't working for me. I was able to get to the page, but couldn't download the files.

Oh ya and what type of oud do you use. It's probably a Turkish but who is the maker?
Thanks

Mike, I am glad you were able to download them.
David, the oud is a Karibyan, built in 1953.
Davidg, I never took formal oud lessons. In my family, everyone is at least a cumbus player :) My father was an excellent violin player until he crashed the bones in his left wrist in a motorcycle accident 30 years ago :(

Mike,

Thank you for the beautiful Memleketim.

It has the same ethereal, haunting and meditative qualities that Djivan Gasparyan achieves on duduk.

Regards,

Greg

Thanks everyone for complimenting.
Cenk, the oud was made by Onnik Uner (Karibyan) in 1953 in Istanbul.
