Two new recordings
Hi all,
Here is a link where you can download two tracks I played for someone's recording. The recordings were used as background music for a poem reading CD
(no singing)
Memleketim and Sevda are the two new ones. I had posted the Ussak taksim here previously.
Enjoy and feel free to comment.

Hey Udi Mike,
The link isn't working for me. I was able to get to the page, but couldn't download the files.

Oh ya and what type of oud do you use. It's probably a Turkish but who is the maker?
Thanks

Mike, I am glad you were able to download them.
David, the oud is a Karibyan, built in 1953.
Davidg, I never took formal oud lessons. In my family, everyone is at least a cumbus player My father was an excellent violin player until he crashed the bones in his left wrist in a motorcycle accident 30 years ago

Mike,
Thank you for the beautiful Memleketim.
It has the same ethereal, haunting and meditative qualities that Djivan Gasparyan achieves on duduk.
Regards,
Greg
