Hey guys, I'm brand new to this forum but not to the instrument. I have posted already a thread on "Ouds, Ouds, Ouds" section.
My name is Amir, I'm 31 years old from Nazareth. I have a BA degrees in Music and a B.Ed certificate for teaching Music. I used to play classical
guitar for over 12 years, some 6 years ago I decided to go back to my roots musically because I found much more beauty and enchantment in Arabic and
Oriental music. I studied the Oud and Arabic Music for 3 and a half years under Kamil Shajrawi, one of the greatest Arabic Oud and Violin players
nowadays.
I will teach you with the same method I was taught, but not only that, you'll get self-made scores and exercises with additional Oud tabs for extra
clarifications. Also, I'll be available for you during the week for any problems you may still have.
You can learn more about me here http://www.amirjacob.com
Who can learn the oud?
Anybody between the ages 5-99
With me, you'll:
* Learn to play various genres of oriental music.
* Learn about the history of the music and the instrument.
* Learn the art of ornamentation and other secrets about the instrument.
* Learn the Maqams and oriental music theory.
* Learn the various oriental beats.
I speak fluent Arabic, Hebrew, English.
German on an intermediet level.
1 Oud lesson lasts for 45 minutes and costs 20EUR or 25$. Mention that you saw my thread on Mikeouds to get %10 OFF!
To schedule a lesson, or any other inquiries, please add me on Skype: Genesis.415
