Carbon Fiber Oud
Hello,
For a long time, I have been working on carbon fiber ouds. Especially preparing its mould was not easy. But I was wondering how its sound would be.
Eventually, a couple of months ago I finished my first carbon fiber oud. I want to share with you. For more detailed information, the link is below.
Best.

Hi Emir,
It looks beautiful.
I listened to all your ouds on sound comparison page: http://www.emirdegirmenli.com/en/ouds/sound-comparison/
and I have to say that the arabic rosewood one sounds so lovely to me. All your ouds looks so beautiful and well made.
I have to admit that I prefer the sound of the wood bowls better, although I can see so much value in a sturdy carbon bowl. Do you find the sound more
'tinny'? or do you find the sound similar to the wood bowls when compared? On my speakers it does sound more tinny, but I am not sure if that is the
video or not. Maybe this will come down to personal preference, but it is very neat to see and hear! Thanx for sharing this with us.

Amazing, it actually sounds great -- in any case, it sounds like an oud
Just goes to show how much more important the sound of the top is compared to the rest of the body.

Great. What are the advantages of a fibre carbon oud?
