Sharing the Radif

Hi Everyone,

I have been getting many messages about sharing PDFs of the Persian Radif.

I think it may be time to set up a site or link with the version I have (mirza abdollah) with any others that are out there.

Open to any suggestions on how to best share these important scores. If anyone already has a website where they host important scores we could use that.

Also, if people know of other versions out there in PDF form or would like to crowdsource/crowdfund scanned versions please let me know.

I have been searching hi and low for The Radif Of Mirza Abdollah book. Is there a source for PDF? I would like the english version book but have been unsuccessful finding it including from the publisher Mazda.Publisher ? : ? Bibliotheca Persica (March 1, 1997)

On a similar note, I highly recommend this site:

It contains radif music performed by various masters. Radif has 2 components, Sazi (instrumental) and Avazi (vocal) and the melodies differ between the two. This site contains both.

I just picked up this book a couple of weeks ago. It'll probably be years before I have the time to take much of a deep dive into it, but the music looks fascinating.
