To repair this oud or to let it go...
Hi everyone. This is my first post on the forum though I've been looking around for years now.
I bought this oud (pictured) for very cheap in a grocery store in Brooklyn, NY, hoping it would be a fine start for an oud newbie. But I may have been
scammed? It's cracking in places and feels impossibly hard to tune. Is that just the case with ouds in general? I'm just not sure where to go from
here. Is finding someone to repair it even worth it?
Thank you for any guidance!

Welcome to the forums celticswizard.
It's good that it was very cheap, as you have not lost much money. This is not worth spending any time or money on.

Agree with Greg, I wouldn't waste good strings on it

Thank you both for the response! I guess I'll find a way to dispose of it.
