A good site for Ouds from japan
I found this exellent site from Japan http://www.emmaz.net it is Emmaz Market ,i have been dealing with them for a few weeks and just Bought a Oud made by Anwar Kubbe and sond from
Damascus ,Syria. There prices are good , shipping to the USA insured is only $65.00 the Person Mr. Fushimi who i am dealing with is very nice,He will
prepare a Video of the oud with the sound before you decide and send you a Paypal bill to pay. I recomend this site.they carry Ibrahim alsukar,
Maurice Shehata , Anwar Kubbe and other good makers.Just look at the site and you will love it.It is in japanes but i Email him and get any info i
need. With all the specs on the Ouds.Hope that will help others.Thank you Samir

He is a nice and respectable man.He was in Turkey 20 days before for to visit me.

I have not been able to find anything on the net about the oudmaker Anwar Kubbe. Is anybody familiar with his instruments?

Greg..In Arabic it is called Anwar elkubbi and sons.or Anwar alkibbi and sons.not sure how, But he have send me an Mp3 and a vedeo and the oud sounds
great and very good clean workmanship.
Thanks for checking ,but i asked him when he gets an eli khalifa oud to let me know.He just sold a very nice one made in 1993 for 200.000.00 Yens less
than $2000.00 wish i got it.It was already sold.

I just got it today but not sure if they have a site. I bought it from Japan since no one wants to shipp to the USA from Syria,,,Looks like they are
not alowed anymore..Imbargo...second when i email Elsukar he never responds to my Emails...Very funny Syrians are tough to deal with.....They are
scared..you never know what might hapened to someone who will deal with the USA now at this time....
