I was reading and I found that he has developed a electrified oud wich you can see in pictures. He has made 3 versions they have a much shallower body
and mechanical tuning heads. They were developed by a lebanese luthier named Georges Bitar. I have never heard of him but they dont sound too too bad.
The only thing is that the mechanical tuning head makes the tuning a little too precise so that its rather odd to hear.
