Hi Guys,
What is "Saisam wood" called in English?
Is there a specific place in the US to order it?

What language are you refering to. Saisam=what language? I ask because in doing a search there is a reference to Myanmar which is of course Burma.

I did another search and spelled it sisam wood. Is this what you are looking for, sisam wood=teak wood?

On my search the spelling was "saisaban" = plant used as purgative.....
No translation in english.
May be when plant grows up and become a tree, its wood is less purgative and more usefull for oud making or repair. But probably Andy proposal is the
right one.

Hatem, you can find some info. here rosewood
This rosewood specie is softer/lighter than latifolia and is normally dyed.
