Based on this incomplete image of the label, the oud was made in Damascus in 1985 by a luthier whose first name is Sa'id. If you can post an
additional image or two it might be possible to give you more complete information.

The full name of the luthier looks like Sa'id Ukkash. The date on the label is September 27, 1985.

Hi tsugumi,
I currently have this Oud in my shop for repairs. I've never strung it up. It was in pretty bad shape when I got it, cracked peg box, some of the
staves had separated, and the face had a bad warp. I've got all the problems fixed but want to refinish the back before I string it up. Tapping the
top, it seems like the tone will be pretty good. The inlays are nice. I'll post when I've finished it up.
