I don't dislike it, I think most of us were just saying that we've seen it before- I know that Munir Bashir did some really trippy stuff on his album
"dialogue of oud and rythm".--Amazing stuff- check it out if you haven't heard it yet-
also, I have worked with some earily similar stuff (Im not bragging) with DJ lady shah, The Three Mohammads, and with the Indian Tabla player
Mansour Mohammed...
-as well heard Soap Kills (lebanon) create really amazing "sound enviroments" with the oud- really skilled too...
