Al-Tayyar oud for sale
I am selling a very rare and beautiful Saad Al-Tayyar cutaway movable-bridge oud. The oud is in perfect condition, having been brought to perfection
by Saad Al-Tayyar last year. The glorious varnished cherry wood has been refinished, and the Tayyar two-level rosette has been placed in the sound
hole. As you know, this is a very rare event that such an instrument is brought up for sale. It is as close to perfection as one could wish. The
oud is in San Francisco, and I urge anyone who can, to visit and try the instrument out. I will be posting photos within the next couple of days, and
will send a CD of mine to serious buyers who are interested in the sound, but cannot make it to the Bay Area. The price will depend on the buyer. I
would prefer the instrument to go to a fine, professional player, and will be generous with the price for such a person. The price range is over
$1,200.
