hello all

another oud player joins the ranks of nuts.
i started with guitar and then onto bass, drums and then kena, and eventually sitar.i finally decided to get a bavly oud.
which i am pleased with. even if it wouldnt hold a candle to some of your works of art, it still was worth the 300 i paid.the picture really doesnt do it justice.
included with it: a locking padded hard case, extra pyramid strings , pick and a book:
"the oud book 1" by fred g. elias

the tuning ive been using is C F A d g c
ive been working on open strings, and linear phrases with drones.
do any of you know any links to arabic oud chord charts?
and do many of you 12 string players double the lowest course?

also what would be the known tuning for the ancient"nefer"?

a house without music is a house of the devil
