This oud has been mentioned in several threads here. Wonderful to hear it played! Like a living museum.

Some time ago there was a thread "where are all the really old ouds?" Now we know... They are all at Veysel Muzik!

Wow. It's great to hear that oud played. A very rich, full sound.

For what it is worth, I have purchased 3 old ouds from Cengiz Sarikus (Veysel Muzik), and in each case, the oud arrived exactly as described, and shipped with the utmost care.

If I had more money to spend (and if the dollar wasn't quite so worthless), I would buy more from him. It is an absolute pleasure to do business with this man.

Perfect!!! I loved the sound of it...
I have one question.How long is the string-length of this oud? Is it longer than the other Turkish style ouds (manol kalip) ?

But please make us a favour and put a video of your 2 Manols too..I would love to hear them both singing in the hands of Gürsel Torun or Hoca Alper...

Wow the construction of this oud is really amazing and beautiful ! I think it wase really more difficult building an oud whit this pattern of ribs !

Hello mult ikulti thank you yours good thinks:) two bridge lenght 58.6cm old turkish ouds lenght 58.6 .I and my father , others turkish lutiyes used same lenght soo old manol siystem 58.6cm kalfayan have made 58.6 cm .
I will send manol sound near fature .

Hello jonathan thak you for your good sensetion :) I will send new armenian masters ouds photo's new master is Kirkor marian .Marian had lived 1865 ,1930 I have faund e marian's oud ,different bow and it has strongs sound .
unfortonately dolar's fallen all world and at Turkey because I would like to sell haing prices last time like this.
