Last I knew, Haig doesn't have an e-mail address. I believe that he is listed in the New York City white pages (on-line), if you want to telephone
him.
His family name is spelled "Manoukian."

Hi,
Yeah, Haig is pretty old school - only a land line for him.
He just repaired my teacher's Necati Gurbuz oud - filled in some cracks, and did some work smoothing out the fingerboard, and respaced the nut as
well.
He really knows ouds, and cares about their playability and sound more than any other person I have met. It's because he is a great player in
addition to being a wonderful oud repairer - he understands what a player wants depending on their personal style, rather than trying to force his own
opinions or preferences on someone who plays completely differently.
I really appreciate that about him, and he always explains exactly what he is going to do. He is also my only source for oud strings now. He's the
best!
