Rapakousios oud for sale - price reduced

Hi everyone,

I am lowering the asking price on my Dimitris Rapakousios oud to $1,200.

This is an incredible deal, as this gorgeous instrument has a beautiful, balanced sound with lovely overtones and is already installed with internal pickups which sound great live. With the current exchange rate, this oud would cost well over $2,000 if ordered from Greece.

I have a nice gig bag that can be purchased for an additional $50, or you can buy my used hard case by Peter Kyvelos ($200) as well.

You can purchase an extra set of strings for this oud for $20.

Oud by Dimitris Rapakousios:

Beautiful Walnut body with Spruce top and Rosewood extended fingerboard and pegs

K&K Internal Pickup Installed

Made in 2004 (Athens, Greece)

$1200

Currently tuned: E AA BB ee aa d'd' (Though the lower, Arabic tuning sounds very good on this oud as well - I have often tuned it: D GG AA dd g'g' c'c' and it sounds great.)

Link to a video of the oud (First Rapakousios oud, then Gurbuz oud which has already sold): Oud Video

Since I know many will ask, I am in the process of, not just thinking about, buying a very nice old Karibyan oud and need the money for this reason. I would not wish to part with this instrument otherwise.

I am located in Jersey City, NJ, near Manhattan. Anyone in the area can email me and schedule time to try the oud in person. As you can tell from the video, it is a wonderful, balanced instrument with a unique sound that works well in any kind of musical style or genre. Great sound, easy to play, and ready for the stage and studio.

Thank you.
