Wow, this is great. Something like this would be perfect as a travel oud, do you think you could build more like that?

Nice taqsim too!

Hi,

I have a small (child's) turkish oud. I would be interested to know what the open string length is on your oud and what guage stings you used.

Thanks.

Hi.... I can, ofcource, build more toy ouds and the idea to use one as atravel oud is very good. Pics are coming ..... The open string length of the toy oud is 43cm and Iuse a regular turkish set, except for the A string, but I am sure that there are other ways also if some one needs a diferent tuning.

Hello my friend Jannis, hi everybody,

What a great oud!!!
The first time i saw it, i was amazed by it's size and beauty, but it was hard to believe that this little miniature oud will have the same capabilities of a normal size oud and even more 'in a way'!
It has a unique sound and playability, it is sweat and crunchy if i can it say so!
When i took it in my hands to play it and write these samples, it was so easy to play and it's sound reminds me 'in a way' the sound of the kanun!
After the samples it inspired me immediately to make also this little composition i wrote for it!!
Keep on the good work my friend
