Sandi Ouds
In the last year, I have acquired 2 Turkish ouds made by Saadettin Sandi. Both are excellent! I purchased the first oud over the internet from a
Turkish man living in Illinois. It was made in 2001, and has a very mellow, deep sound which I love. I purchased it for $500.00. I believe this oud is
worth much more. It has an extended ebony fingerboard. The fidelity, sustain and action are absolutely excellent. I purchased the 2nd oud online
through a dealer. It is brand new (made in 2008), with short ebony fingerboard and ebony pegs. I purchased it for $1000.00. The action is a little
higher than the $500.00 oud, but still very playable. The sound is a lot brighter, also. It really cuts through when I played it a few nights ago on a
gig. I love these ouds!

Hi oudplayer3
allways good to hear about someone loving his ouds.
But if you`re watering our mouthes, you should at least post some pics to let us see what you`re talking about!
A soundfile or video would be great.
Anyhow, enjoy your ouds!!
Greet`s from germany,
Marcus
