Morocco
Hi,
Next week im heading to Morocco for a short trip. Ill be mostly around Marrakesh.
I was wondering if anybody knows any good oud shops in Marrakesh or even Casablanca, maybe find a new oud but certainly top up on supplies.
Also does anybody know any good live music venues in marrakesh?
Regards,
Mehran

... and his ouds seem to be the best in Morocco. Sabbassi here from the forums showed me his Belhaiba oud and it is a fantastic instrument.
HERE is a video of one of his ouds. Check THIS, THIS and THIS out too.

I don't know ... wait 'til Sabbassi answeres or contact Khalid directly by email or phone ... see above link to his homepage. But as far as I know, he
doesn't speak English, only French.

He is a man from Morocco ... what's the native language there?
Sorry ... I'm just a bad informed German
Write a U2U to Sabbassi, who is a personal friend of Khalid and can answer all your questions.

Sorry a misunderstanding, i thought you said he only spoke french, nothing else, perhaps that will be easier anyway, because i find moroccan arabic
really hard to understand.
