New in California
Hey there!
I've been ghosting around these forums for a good week
now and finally decided to post as I need some help.
I've been given a sweet ornament of an oud, cheap, but
decent enough to learn on for now. The pegs were slipping a
lot, but I got peg drops from a local violin shop and they
are much better now.
What resources do I have in the Bay Area in California? I am
looking from classes to teachers to shops to whatever I can find,
really; I saw that there are classes offered at Zambaleta in
the Mission district...
Also, what are your opinions on the "Learn Maqamat for the Oud"
DVD? Is it worth getting?
