Leather Oud Cases
Hello again everyone.
Anybody have resources for leather Oud cases ? I just looked at one in picture and thought to myself.......lol, I've got to have one !!!!
Any ideas ?

Hello,
Thank you for the links. The links are great for a hard case for my oud which I'm also in the market to purchase in the near future, however neither
of these links have soft leather carrying cases on them for Ouds. Does anyone have anything out there ? I just assumed that like the guitar industry,
where finding leather cases for that instrument is not a problem at all that I would have a ton of resources to purchase the same with Ouds.
Please let me know if you find anything and of course I'm still searching myself.

Correct I looked at the link you sent and realized that they do leather Oud cases on request and so pictures of them are not available. Anyone got
anything else, maybe something I can look at ?

Levis bag ?!?#$% Sorry, I vote "Dear Jean".
I was thinking to take one of the ugly ones that I have, made of rubberized cloth (like the checkered tablecloth from a bad restaurant), and give it
to someone to split the seams for a pattern and make the same thing in nice thick leather.

Michelle, what "grade" protection are you looking for? I would guess the pretty glove-leather ones are good for one entry at the Cannes Festival, and
that's it. If you have one of those gig bags in cloth, seriously, find someone who sows in leather, and let them make a pattern to use with heavy
leather, and sow the gig bag back up.
I see shoe leather, which would be good for a sturdy gig bag, around $5 a square foot. Buy some remnants from a leather company and find a seamstress
with a big-needle sowing machine, have her copy the cloth gig bag. End of problem.
