Best way to clean liquid hide glue after it's cured
Can you help me to find a good way to clean a cured liquid hide glue?
I mean that the glue is fully cured on the wood n the glue line and I didn't have the chance to clean it before with a wet cloth.

What I usually do is use a damp cloth and a clothing iron and gently melt it off. Or you can use alcohol (or thinner, I can't remember which).

Hide glue is water soluble, so yea warm water will clean it off, but be careful not to let it seep into the joint or you could damage the integrity of
the glue job. Thinner or some other chemicals may work but patience and water are all that is really necessary.
I've taken tops off of violins and fingerboards off of cellos with nothing but hot water and a modified putty knife. So getting a couple globs of glue
off should be pretty easy
