Hello my friend,Unfortunatelly this is not my policy,If somebody wants more details I can always send by e-mail.
The reason is not that is a ''secret'',but that depends on the daily price between Euros and Dollars.

And ofcourse you can always come see it and play it if you are really interested.
You see... I just select very high fidelity-quality instruments, and I sell them on the prices of the Luthier. No extra cost, and on that case because
the instruments are 100% custom and handmade, with the highest quality possible matterials, the prices are diferent, but for sure the quality is
quaranteed, and all the instruments that I have sale to other musicians, and students are for a lifetime.
That is why each time is only ONE instrument for sale.

The oud is available for sale, and a very good soft case is included.
It's exactly the same model with the one in the pictures and is tunned in c g D A G D from trebles to bass,it is with pyramid luth strings and it has
strong and worm sound. The sound is equal on the free strings and on the pressed finger positions, and the instrument is really equilibrated on the
sound. The action is very low and it has a worm and mellow glisando that I was really impressed.
I asure you that it's one of the most beautifull instruments I ever played. You can also play it and see it if you wish.
Warmest Regards to all

I am inclined to sympathise with this point of view.
It is the one recurring aspect of these forums which leaves me feeling uneasy. It's rather like reading a job ad in the newspaper that says
"competitive salary" or "salary negotiable". What's the pay, John?!
IMHO a vendor ought to state the price of his goods openly.
End of sermon.

It's kind of a cultural thing with some people but with spyro his price fluctuates based on currency conversion. Doing business on these forums can
be a little frustrating because you have people from many different cultures.
Some people post extremely high prices with the idea that bargaining is part of making a purchase and they do not expect a buyer to accept the listed
price. Others will post a fair price but get many requests from people asking for a significant discount because the buyer expects to negotiate. It
would be helpful if sellers posted "firm" or "negotiable" but that has never really caught on here.

Hi Spyros,
Excuse me for being anonymous but I don't want anyone to know who I am. I've been following your threads very closely because I was interested in
buying one of you ouds. I'm very troubled by this last post of a new oud for sale.
It seems that you sold the first oud and then another oud after that. Now you have two more new ouds for sale. When I examine the last oud on the
right and compare it to the first oud that you "sold." I notice that they look exactly the same.
I magnified all the pictures and noticed the discolorations on the rosettes are exactly the same and in the same spot. The grains on the sound
board are exact. The grains and patterns on the bowl are also exact. So the last "new" oud that you are selling is the same as the first oud that
you have claimed to sell. So something is wrong.
You are trying to look like you sell many ouds quickly.
Do you have an explanation for this? Also if you are worried about price fluctuations as Jason said, why don't you declare your price in euros so
we know what the fixed price is.?

Dear Anonymous friend… I am extremely impressed that you went to all these troubles to examine the ouds that I sell. That means that you are a
serious buyer. And I do appreciate your concern. I live in Washington DC and I always invite people to come and see, check my ouds. I am in business
too many years, with an extremely good reputation that I will never jeopardize for anyone and anything. If you like to come and see my ouds, up close,
play them and check if I sell the same ouds over and over , the only thing that you can do is to get in an aeroplane(if far) or take your car( if
close) and come and see them.
As far prices and currency exchange, as a seller I do have my policies and I stick to them. For further discussions and if you really want to buy an
oud, as you are saying, please contact me personally.
Thank you
Dr.Spyros Koliavasilis
p.s: And something else: I do not sale as”anonymous” and I do not comment on anything or anybody as”anonymous”.

Dear Dr. Spyros
It's not a good reputation to make believe that you sold a oud and then trying to sell it again. If your trying to lie about selling and getting new
ouds, then its not smart to photograph the same oud twice in the same thread. A good reputation doesn't come from your own words. They come from
your customers. Where are your happy customers and how come they don't recommend you?
PS Doctor of what?
