My oud has a strange transparent stain on it. When I look at it from one angle, I see like a pale transparent white cloudy stain. However, when I look
at it from another angle, the color seems unchanged.
Can someone tell me what the stain is and how I can get rid of it?
I have a similar stain on a Syrian wood chest.
The oud is Egyptian with a shiny finish and the chest is shiny too.
