oud player in Turkish style in France
Hello
As you guess, i'm searching oud player in france who are very interested by the turkish style.
The most part of oud player play arabic style in france.
So my question is simple : who and where are oud players in turkish style in France ?!
For now, I know just Lior Blindermann (Maliétès band). But it does not seem to be easy to contact him ...

i'm living in strasbourg
and I'm "trying" to play turkish style oud 
In fact, I play old greek stuff like old rebetika with a new born band here!
as tu deja rencontré Xavier qui joue dans les SEX DRUGS AND REBETIKO ?
il est sur toulouse souvent et il joue tres bien! (saz, kaval, oud......)

Effectivement j ai rencontré Xavier !! Bien cool ce mec. Mais il n'est pas facile à topper maintenant qu'il a d'autres projets dans sa petite
ariège ...
Puis dans qq temps je bouge vers nantes donc ça sera un autre réseau !
Il semblerait qu'on ne soit pas nombreux à jouer le style turque. Tu n'en connais pas d'autres ?!

je m'intéresse beaucoup au style turc, sans prétendre avoir un niveau professionnel.
par contre je quitte bientôt la France pour 1 semestre. On peut rester en contact et s'organiser une rencontre à mon retour.
Je devrais revenir dans la région de Bordeaux en mai prochain.

I'm very surprised about number of interested in turkish style in France . We should create an event to broadcast the turkish culture !
Do you think we can invite a master like yurdal tokcan , necati celik , Gulcin Yahya or I don't know... for a master class or festival in France ?
May be it would be too expensive and too complicated !

your idea sounds good. I think there is enough people interested in it to organize such an event. There is the festival " les suds " in Arles, which
organize master class. Since 2 years at least it is always fully book (this year was Ahmad Khatib).
For pricing, I don't know. We have to check directly with the artist. Anyway his asking price should be covered by fees for the masterlass. Traveling
fares and accomodation may be provided by a festival? I think you're correct in talking of organising this kind of event in a festival.
